In 2020, Grand Symphony was reborn by master builder Andy Powers. With the exception of Builder's Edition 816ce, the K26ce will be the first new Grand Symphony model. The second sound hole in the Cutterway section, a major feature of the new Grand Symphony, facilitates access to the high frets while keeping the guitar's back silhouette in place. This second sound hole produces a beautiful, textured, and very symphonic sound. The use of V-Class tracing also added power and sustain while eliminating dissonance caused by incomplete intonation. The K26ce is attractive for its Hawaiian core-specific warmth and bell-like high-range brilliance.
